N/A on the snow traction, at least for me These are summer performance tires and turn into hockey pucks in the winter, so if you can afford it get a second set of rims with good snow tires so they can be changed out (Nov/April), but they are excellent tires and I plan to buy another set this spring. I got more than 30,000 out of them doing mostly highway driving.
Bought this set of tires for my wife's 2013 Buick Regal 4dr turbo model with 18 inch wheels. They put a set of Pilot Super Sport ZR rated tires on it...my wife is never gonna drive that fast. We have a little over 20,700 miles and these are worn down to or past the wear bars and have been the noisiest tires that we have ever had from Michelin....not recommended.
Great performance tire!
Great tires.
Excellent tire. Put these on in place of the stock Goodyears. Car is now very quiet and handles like it is on rails. They were more expensive, but I feel it was well worth the money.
Great tire....will be buying these for my new Z28.
I've only had these for a few days, but wow have they transformed the performance of my 1 series. I've yet to really put them to the test by having had a number of mods installed on my car in the past few days. These tires have been the best bang for an "expensive" buck.
Absolutely the best summer tire I've ever tried. They do everything well, even track days so long as you don't push too hard too long and keep hot pressures around 35#. All that and they have quiet treads and good ride comfort and appear to have great wear characteristics too. Really about perfect. I use Nitto NT-01 on track if it's not cold out. In the fall at R/A, I use these and they work beautifully. My every day summer tire choice.
Love the tires, great look.
The original run flat tires that came on the car felt like riding on a buckboard. The Michelin PSS tires are very reasonable when it comes to ride. Still stiff but much much better than the RFs. The side wall on the RF is so stiff the turn in is exceptional. The first day I was wondering if I had made a mistake because I could feel the slight delay in turn in. I tracked the car a few weekends ago the turn in was not an issue and I definitely did not make a mistake. These tires grip like you cannot believe and they do not give up. There is no sudden breakaway or anything like that. They are fantastic and I will buy them again.
These are phenomenal summer tires for my E46 ZHP. They are leaps and bounds above my previous setup of RE040's. The grip on these tires is really amazing and they seem to be lasting longer than the PS/2's. The only negative I've found for these is that they are definitely SUMMER tires. Once the temps drop into the low 30's, you should not be running these as traction, and I'm sure tread life is greatly reduced.
The Michelin Pilot Super Sport is the best wet and dry tire I've ever driven on. This tire sticks to the road like glue. The Super Sport is very predictable when starting to lose traction. It is a quiet, smooth rolling tire. The Super Sport helps compensate for a lack of driver skill and makes driving fun.
These tires are quieter and road noise is reduced. Steering and overall confidence in maneuvering is enhanced. Haven't had them in water yet, so no thoughts on that. Original tires were Bridgestone Potenza a050 OEM'S, 50 percent used. When vehicle is on rough sections of pavement, suspension is stiffer than normal g37. Overall, really like the car better and want to drive faster.
Replaced OEM runflats and it was like getting a new car! Great grip, way quieter and no more crashing over every bump in the road. It is a shame these don't come on the car when new. Car never sees rain or snow so I can't comment. Would definitely purchase again.
A little loud, firm sidewall, but can't beat the traction for a street legal DOT tire. Highly predictable. Good in rain, scary in snow.
